The Sales Contract is the ultimate destination - the culmination of the Realtors®
expertise with the customer’s binding agreement. In recognition of the full power
it carries, this course was designed for real estate professionals to polish up their
process of completing a contract from the first word to the last signature. Students
will also learn to view the contract as more than just an official document; they will
understand how to use it as an influential instrument to aid in closing. While
learning how to minimize incidence of litigation, they will also explore the rationale
behind why consumers occasionally back out of deals. Lastly, Realtors® will learn
how to then successfully bring hesitant customers back to the table. Utilizing study
groups and role reversal, this course puts the power of the Purchase and Sales
Contract back in the hands of the Realtor®.


Objectives: After taking this class students will be able to:
• Explain the agreement to a customer/client.
• Identify the proper timing of execution and the use of the appropriate disclosures.
• Write a solid and binding contract

Deb Diesing
Deb Diesing moved from Wisconsin to Florida in 1982 to join her father in the family's real estate business in St. Petersburg. She later took the reins as the Broker and President of the Arbor Realty Group, Inc. She is a member of Florida REALTORS Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) faculty, as well as a Senior Faculty member of Trans-Equity, Inc. and the Bob Hogue School of Real Estate. Florida REALTOR magazine recognized Deb for her use of technology in the real estate business and she teaches other REALTORS these skills and has taught throughout the southeastern U.S. Deb is a past-president of the St. Peterburg Suncoast Association and was a Director of Florida REALTORS. She currently serves on the Professional Development committee of Florida REALTORS and other committees at the Pinellas Realtor Organization.
