The GRI 100 series (101, 102, and 103) is a "nuts and bolts" approach to transaction making, professional standards, legal aspects of contracts, identifying and understanding legal issues, financing alternatives, and fair housing and diversity. GRI 101, 102 and 103 fulfill the 45 hours Post Licensing credit.

GRI 101 - REALTORS: Professionalism and the Law is a 2-day course that covers professional standards, fair housing and diversity, and law. This class qualifies for 15 hours of Sales Associate Post Licensing credit, or 11 hours of continuing education specialty credit. If completed with GRI 103, you will earn 3 hours of Core Law credit.

GRI 102 - Starting Your Business is a 2-day course that covers contracts, goal setting and business planning. This class qualifies for 15 hours of Sales Associate Post Licensing credit, or 11 hours of continuing education specialty credit.

GRI 103 - Maximize Your Profitability is a 2-day course that covers finance, negotiating and counseling, and This class qualifies for 15 hours of Sales Associate Post Licensing credit, or 11 hours of continuing education specialty credit. If completed with GRI 101, you will earn 3 hours of Core Law credit.

In order to receive the GRI Designation, you must successfully complete all 7 modules: GRI 101, 102, 103, 201, 202, 301 and 302.

David Wyant
David Wyant has represented multiple international corporations on every continent. he has lived, bough, sold property and operated his own company internationally. He is able to communicate his experiences effectively, and welcomes the opportunity to share his knowledge with other professionals. He began working with real estate professionals in the early 1990's, bringing computer technology to the industry. He has taught and lectured in more than 35 countries on topics ranging from marketing and strategy development, to international finance and business planning. David was named the "CIPS Instructor of the Year" by NAR in 2009 and 2012.

Gonzalo Mejia
Gonzalo is originally from Lima, Peru where he studied Industrial Engineering, specializing in Finance and Accounting. He moved to the United States in 2001 and started his real estate career in 2006 in Pensacola, Florida. After moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 2009, he joined Watson Realty Corp and is the broker/manager of the San Marco office. Gonzalo holds the ABR, CIPS, CRS, GRI, TRC, and AHWD designations.  He has successfully completed transactions with International clients from Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He has over 20 years of experience as an instructor, has been a guest speaker at different REALTOR events to present about cultural diversity and Gonzalo currently volunteers his time as an instructor at the Northeast Florida Association of REALTORS monthly new member orientation.

Deb Diesing
Deb Diesing moved from Wisconsin to Florida in 1982 to join her father in the family's real estate business in St. Petersburg. She later took the reins as the Broker and President of the Arbor Realty Group, Inc. She is a member of Florida REALTORS Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) faculty, as well as a Senior Faculty member of Trans-Equity, Inc. and the Bob Hogue School of Real Estate. Florida REALTOR magazine recognized Deb for her use of technology in the real estate business and she teaches other REALTORS these skills and has taught throughout the southeastern U.S. Deb is a past-president of the St. Peterburg Suncoast Association and was a Director of Florida REALTORS. She currently serves on the Professional Development committee of Florida REALTORS and other committees at the Pinellas Realtor Organization.

All cancellations must be received in writing via email to education@tamparealtors.org and are subject to a $30 cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of the start of class. Funds may be transferred only if the course is offered at a later date during the same calendar year.
