Due to the unfortunate downturn of the economy in the mid to late 2000’s, distressed property has become a more commonly used term in the real estate world. The objectives of this course are designed to give the attendee a solid foundation for understanding foreclosures, short sales, and REOs. Additionally, the course is designed to highlight the dos and don’ts as they relate to distressed property. As an additional bonus, the course addresses how to build an REO business. Foreclosures, short sales, and REOs are still terms that are confusing and often misunderstood by many agents. Whether you are a new real estate agent or a seasoned professional in need of a refresher, this course is a comprehensive resource on the timely subject of real estate foreclosures, short sales, and REOs. ATTENDANCE POLICY 1. FREC requires a licensee to attend 90% of each of the classroom hours. Physical attendance is required for the duration of class. Please allow adequate commute time.
